Registrations for the 2025 Douglas Fire Conference will open at 08:00 on August 1st and close at 17:00 on September 12th.

Safer Grant Information Available 2025
Wyoming Fire Chief`s Safer Grant will be available for 2025 Fire School, all class attendance registrations for Wyoming Volunteers will be taken care of by the grant.

Check-In times for Basic Red Card, Rope Rescue Operations and Confined Space Rescue Operations will be open Wednesday, September 17th from 16:00-20:00 and Thursday, September 18th from 06:30-07:30.
Department check-in for the remainder of the fire school events will start Friday September 19th at 10:00 until 20:00 and Saturday, September 20th from 06:30-07:30.
**All conference attendees will be required to ride provided buses to and from class locations unless previously arranged with conference coordinators.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy (WY Volunteer Fire Departments)
Because seats are limited and costs for meals, materials, instructors, and course supplies are committed in advance, each registration is billable to the registering department.
Late cancellations & no-shows
If a registered participant cancels within 14 calendar days of the class start date or does not attend, the registering department will be invoiced the full class fee for that seat.
Timely cancellations
Cancellations made ≥ 14 calendar days before the class start date will not be charged.
Substitutions (recommended)
Another member from the same department may be substituted at no cost up to 48 hours before the class start. Please email us to update the roster.
Billing
Invoices will be sent to the department listed on the registration and are due within 30 days of issue.
Exceptions
The Douglas Volunteer Fire Department may, at its discretion, waive charges for documented emergency deployment or other extraordinary circumstances.
Waitlist fill
If we can fill your seat from our waitlist, the late-cancellation fee will be waived.
Cutoff time clarity
Deadlines are 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time on the applicable date.
